About The Artist
About The Artist
Born in Japan, Sayaka Namba is a Japanese ceramicist based in London who beautifully combines her background in architecture with her passion for ceramics. Since moving to London in 2006, she has honed her skills in wheel throwing, deeply engaging with both the materials and techniques. Her creations are distinctly influenced by Japanese minimalism and the intrinsic textures of natural clay, drawing inspiration from nature. She crafts each piece with the intention of enhancing living spaces that foster a serene connection between environment, objects, and individuals.
