Hand thrown in porcelain on the potter's wheel. It has a gloss glaze and is finished with an oxide and bronze lustre rim.
About The Artist
About The Artist
Award-winning ceramicist, Kirsty Adams, has spent more than 20 years refining her practice on the potter’s wheel. She is deeply influenced by the Japanese ceramic masters and spent the beginning of her career in Japan, learning Japanese techniques. She creates pieces from her studio in Newcastle that celebrate several techniques to achieve a blend of simplicity and delicacy. She is a member of the Design-Nation UK and Society of Designer Craftsmen and has been selected by the Michelangelo Foundation as a Master Artisan for their prestigious and globally renowned Homo Faber Guide.
