Hand thrown on the potter’s wheel and made from reclaimed porcelain. The soft pink colour emerges from the red stain in the clay body, complemented by a glossy white glaze. The pouring glaze technique creates varied, random patterns. The rim has been hand-pressed and sponged to achieve an exquisite look.

With more than 15 years of experience working with clay, Jiayao Peng is the face behind the ceramic homeware brandPPPLab. She was trained in Ceramic Art and Design in China and the UK and currently works in her studio in London, UK. She is committed to exploring forms and the process of making, and focuses on sculptural homewares. Daily life serves as the primary source of inspiration, especially the subtle yet beautiful elements that emerge with the changing seasons, which is reflected in her work. Her work has also been featured in a range of retailers and cafes both in the UK and internationally.

As each piece is made by hand, we recommend that all products are hand washed to extend their life.
